Accommodation
The accommodation is of mud brick and rammed earth. All
rooms and the practice rooms are comfortably heated. Standard
accommodation is provided in shared rooms. There is limited
supply of single, twin and ensuite rooms. For these rooms
the following additional rates are charged on top of the
course or residential fee.

Course
Times
You are welcome to arrive any time after 2pm. Generally retreats begin with dinner at 6.00pm
(If possible come at 5pm for meditation/havan) and conclude after
lunch on the last day of the course.
Reception Hours
9am - 5.30pm daily. If arriving later than 7pm please make arrangements when booking and inform us of any changes. Prefer no arrivals after 8.30pm.
Enrolment
Please book by sending enrolment details and a 25% (non transferable or refundable) deposit. This can be done by phone with credit card details, fax, email or mail using the attached enrolment form. Meals, accommodation, classes and GST, where applicable, are included in the price.
What
to Bring
Pillow, single bed sheets, blankets/doona/sleeping bag, clothes suitable for yoga class and outdoor activities, drinking bottle, toiletries, towel, very warm clothes for winter, torch, alarm clock, sunscreen and hat, slip on shoes and outdoor shoes. Rocklyn is at a high altitude. The weather is changeable and sometimes becomes quite cold. Full bedding can be hired
@ $25 for the duration of your stay.
Meals
All meals are vegetarian. Three yummy garden fresh vegetarian meals a day are provided. Fruit is served with morning tea. Fruit and home made goodies are served with afternoon tea. Dairy products are served separately. Special dietry needs can be catered for. Please let us know prior to your arrival if you have medically advised dietry requirements.
Accommodation Options
General rates are for shared rooms. Camping, single rooms, twin rooms or ensuite accommodation are subject to availability and have a separate fee structure. 3 to 4 people private accommodation is available on request. Private rooms are limited. Please book early.
Respecting others: snorers please reserve a single room, bring a tent or bring an understanding room mate for a twin share. If someone is relocated due to your snoring, you will be charged a single room fee.
Families and Children
Children are welcome and are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who takes full responsibility for their care whilst in the centre. Children must be accommodated with a parent or guardian and be prepeared to take a private room.>
Facilities
Meditation rooms can be used for private practices outside of programs, walking tracks, bike riding, yogic library, reading rooms, computer facilities with internet access, well stocked shop with yogic books, accessories & clothing. All practice rooms, reading rooms and accommodation rooms are cozy and heated during winter. Rocklyn is a mobile phone free zone. A public coin phone and phone cards are available.

Rocklyn is a declared mobile free zone in the residential
area, however they can be used in the car park.
Drugs,
Alcohol and Cigarettes
No alcohol or illegal drugs are permitted on
the premises. Cigarette smokers are requested to smoke
outside the grounds and be absolutely responsible for the proper disposal of cigarette butts and packets.
Daily
Routine
Wake up to bird calls before dawn and enjoy an early morning
yoga class, chanting and breakfast. You are invited to share skills in the karma yoga lifestyle activities (yoga of action) in the morning. These lifestyle activities of the centre can include gardening, cooking vegetarian lunch and making bread or goodies, office work and mainteneance.
Relax with Yoga Nidra (guided deep relaxation) followed by a healthy and tasty lunch and time in the afternoon for personal rest and reflection, walking, reading from the library or using any of the (heated in winter) practice rooms for personal practices.
Evening meditation is at 5.30pm, followed by dinner and evening program which could include chanting, spiritual video of a discourse by a Master, interesting documentaries, plays and readings or creative crafts.
During courses additional sessions are held in the morning and afternoon.
CANCELLATION/REFUNDS
Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice: a refund can be given, less 25% non-refundable deposit, or the full fee paid is transferable for use within the current financial year. The fee also be used to purchase products available at the centre. Fees are non-transferable or to be used by another person.
